Inspired by some of the incredible images from the Artemis II mission and the idea of looking back at the Earth and Moon from deep space, this soap is my own imagined little view of the cosmos.

Each bar features a swirling blue, green and white Earth beneath a softly shaded moon, surrounded by deep black and violet “space” with a touch of gold mica for stardust. The overall Earth-and-Moon composition stays the same from bar to bar, but the swirls inside the embeds and in the surrounding space make every one unique. I especially love how the pale purple in the moon created such natural-looking shadows and depth.

Scented mostly with ylang ylang essential oil and a touch of jasmine, it has a rich floral scent that fits the dreamy, slightly otherworldly look. Ylang Ylang also sounds a bit "alien" thus my reason for choosing this fragrance.

(FYI: Ylang ylang is very floral, rich, sweet, and slightly exotic. People often describe it as having a creamy, almost banana-like or custardy sweetness, with a little bit of spice and warmth underneath. It’s not a light, fresh floral like lily of the valley. It’s much more lush and heady, closer to the kind of scent you’d associate with a tropical flower.)

Ingredients: Coconut Oil (Cocos Nucifera Oil), Palm Oil (Elaeis Guineensis Oil), Olive Oil (Olea Europaea Fruit Oil), Sunflower Oil (Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil), Castor Oil (Ricinus Communis Seed Oil), Water (Aqua), Sodium Hydroxide, Ylang Ylang Essential Oil (Cananga Odorata Flower Oil), Jasmine Fragrance Oil (Parfum), Mica, Activated Charcoal (Charcoal Powder).

Fragrance Allergens: Benzyl Benzoate (0.282%), Benzyl Salicylate (0.054%), Linalool (0.052%), Hexyl Cinnamal (0.026%), Hydroxycitronellal (0.014%), Amyl Salicylate (0.007%), Amyl Cinnamal (0.005%).
