Inspired by juicy citrus, soft natural colour and the kind of handmade soap that proudly looks handmade, this bar is my own bright little take on ruby grapefruit and French pink clay.

Each bar is made with my regular blend of coconut, palm, olive, sunflower and castor oils, with French pink clay mixed throughout the soap. French pink clay is one of the mildest cosmetic clays, offering gentle absorption and a light polishing action that helps leave skin feeling clean and smooth. There’s no added colour, so the soft peachy-pink tone comes naturally from the clay.

Scented with Ruby Grapefruit Fragrance Oil, it opens with bright notes of pink grapefruit, lemon and lime, softened by delicate florals and a smooth hint of vanilla. The lively citrus scent and pretty pink clay fit together beautifully, creating a fresh and cheerful soap with a simple, natural look.
