Inspired by warm maple sweetness and the kind of old-fashioned handmade soap that proudly looks handmade, this bar is my own rustic little take on maple sugar and natural bentonite clay.

Each bar is made with my regular blend of coconut, palm, olive, sunflower and castor oils, with bentonite clay mixed throughout the soap. Bentonite is a highly absorbent swelling clay known for binding excess oil and surface debris. It also adds a smooth slip and dense clay feel to the finished bar. There’s no added colour, so the warm, earthy brown tone comes naturally from the clay. The deeply textured top gives each bar its own rustic character.

Scented with Maple Sugar Fragrance Oil, it has a rich maple syrup aroma with smooth, buttery sweetness. The warm fragrance and earthy bentonite clay fit together beautifully, creating a cozy soap with a simple, natural look.
